Bamboula Ltd. provides work and income for artisans in Kenya, Ghana, Mali, Tanzania and Uganda. Jasperdean Kobes, the owner, travels to Africa several times a year to work directly with the artisans in the development of new products. She developed her passion for Africa when she was a Peace Corps Volunteer Teacher in Ethiopia. Bamboula purchases handcrafted products directly from the artisans using fair trade practices in all of its transactions. Its extensive collection of products highlights Africa’s indigenous artistic talent in design and craftsmanship. |
