Jasperdean Kobes, the owner, travels to Africa several times a year to work directly with the artisans in the development of new products. She developed her passion for Africa when she was a Peace Corps Volunteer Teacher in Ethiopia. Bamboula purchases handcrafted products directly from the artisans using fair trade practices in all of its transactions.
