Based out of the Lake Isabel region of Guatemala, the Artisans de San Pedro have developed a sustainable business creating Teak wood cutting boards, while maintaining a focus on environmental preservation. Using only recycled or sustainably sourced wood managed by the Smartwood Alliance, they craft beautiful, one of a kind wood products. A handmade lifestyle brand, Sobremesa by Greenheart supports fair trade, environmental sustainability, and conscious consumerism. The word ‘sobremesa’ literally means ‘over the table,’ inspired by the Spaniards’ tradition of lingering around the table to savor the conversation and company of others after a meal. Their handmade products are crafted by skilled artisans around the world, to help strengthen their community, and sustain the environment.
