It's hard to choose your favorite from these fun, famous personalities felt ornaments, that are handmade in Kyrgyzstan by artisans working with the Silk Road Bazaar. These wonderful ornaments are made with traditional felting methods developed to make yurt tents and decorative rugs, using local merino wools, boiling water, soap and extensive handwork. Silk Road Bazaar works with marginalized artist groups located in Central Asia who are far from the capitals and have limited market access, who have carried on traditional craft culture.
