DVAA was born in a 300 SQ FT apartment in Bombay 2015, on a never ending quest for mastery and skill using age-old craft techniques. We work with skilled artisans in Bengal to make our own textiles from scratch and everything we make is handcrafted, thoughtful and conscious. As a brand, we believe in making a difference, impacting the world in a positive way and look damn good doing it! Our entire collection is hand-crafted, designed, manufactured and tailored in India to ensure that everything is created to the absolute highest standard. Born out of the need for effortless and comfortable clothes that can look good and be good on the planet. DVAA started with a deep desire to help artisans preserve their craft, who otherwise would go into hard-labor. Our goal is to be at the intersection of being good to the planet, provide fair wages and safe working conditions to our weavers and cotton farmers, while creating long-lasting timeless pieces that can go past trends and seasons.
