Prosperity Candle is a small group of people who share a common dream of a world where all women have the opportunity to truly thrive. Every Prosperity candle is artfully handmade by women artisans. The artisans behind their ethically made candles are building brighter futures for themselves and their families in western Massachusetts after years in refugee camps. Their Akkadian Collection is made by women in Iraq, who have little opportunity for employment outside the home.

As a social enterprise, Prosperity Candles work at the intersection of business and philanthropy, seeking sustainable market-based solutions to today’s challenges. They believe that supporting women’s entrepreneurship and harnessing the resources of the global marketplace is the most effective way to achieve long-term impact.
